Local: Box Hill
Live like a local.

Studio Perspective led the strategy, positioning and campaign development for Local: Box Hill, bringing clarity and confidence to a new model of renting. Grounded in research and shaped into a cohesive creative platform, the work translated into an integrated campaign across digital, on-site and leasing channels, supported by a curated art program that embedded local identity throughout the building.

Studio Perspective partnered with Local to bring Local: Box Hill to market, supporting the next stage of their build-to-rent expansion. Located within one of Melbourne’s most diverse and fast-evolving urban centres, the project reflects a more considered model of renting, where quality, flexibility and long-term liveability are held in balance.

Our approach was grounded in research. We examined the Box Hill market, its multicultural community and the evolving expectations of renters within the precinct. This, alongside a review of the competitive landscape and Local’s existing brand, identified a clear opportunity to sharpen the proposition and communicate it with greater clarity and confidence.

From this foundation, we developed a strategic and creative platform to carry through an omnichannel campaign. The concept, On Another Level, captures the high standard of the apartments and views, alongside the abundance of quality shared amenities, positioning the project as a more elevated and considered approach to renting within the Box Hill context.

Studio Perspective worked closely with Local’s marketing and media team to craft the strategy, messaging and a comprehensive suite of campaign assets across digital, on-site and leasing environments. The work builds recognition of Local as a credible and progressive build-to-rent operator, while presenting Local: Box Hill as a refined and highly liveable residential address.

In parallel with the campaign, we partnered with Local on an integrated art strategy and procurement program for the building. Working with a curated group of local artists, the program delivers 16 individual artworks that reflect the cultural richness of the surrounding community, introducing a layer of identity and storytelling across shared spaces.
